Creator guidelines

What gets approved, what gets rejected, and why.

The one rule

Sell something you have actually done. Everything below follows from that.

What gets approved

  • A specific, stated outcome - the buyer knows what they will be able to do.
  • Enough depth to reach that outcome, including the awkward middle steps.
  • Accurate claims about length, format and what is included.
  • Original work you own or have the rights to sell.
  • A cover, title and description that match the contents.

What gets rejected

  • Content copied, spun or generated wholesale from someone else's work.
  • Padding: word counts and runtimes inflated past the useful content.
  • Promises of income, results or outcomes you cannot support.
  • Advice that needs a professional licence, presented as if it does not.
  • Titles or covers that oversell what is inside.

Pricing honestly

You set your own price. If you show an original price with a discount, it must be a price you have genuinely charged - permanent fake discounts are not allowed and are the fastest way to lose buyer trust.

Reviews

Only verified buyers can review. You cannot review your own products, ask for reviews in exchange for anything, or have a review removed because you disagree with it. Reviews that break the rules - abuse, spam, off-topic - are removed on request.

Keeping things current

Tools change. If your product depends on a platform that has changed significantly, update it or mark it clearly. Products that have gone badly out of date may be hidden until they are refreshed.

Payouts and fees

TomiGuide takes a platform fee on each sale, which covers hosting, payment processing, delivery and support. Your dashboard shows gross sales, the fee and your net earnings on every product.
